There are many things we do not understand about the migration of birds,some birds migrate,while other birds at the same or similar specie do not migrate.Thus,it cannot be entirely a question of food,and it cannot be entirely a question of climate either.So, how do the birds know when to start their journey? How do they find their way? These are even more difficult to understand.
A cattle egred for example,is a white long-necked bird,it can be seen on west african coast,but when the rain came,it migrates north east,and it cannot be seen till the following year.
The little swallow migrate much further,it through north Africa and reach europe.
It spend half of the year in Africa,and half of the year in europe.It occupies the same nests it occupied the previous year.
